Kindergarteners are on their ABC Countdown. Friday was Day C and the students spent some time in the morning making chalk drawings outside of school. One student even wrote a very tricky sentence all on her own. Way to go, 5K! #brillionlions

A huge shoutout to our School Lunch Heroes! The staff and students truly appreciate all you do for the district.

Recently our BHS students had the opportunity to participate in Menagerie, a literary magazine compiled by the Eastern Wisconsin Conference. Students whose writing is in the magazine were able to workshop with other student writers and participate in a fiction writing lesson with professional novelist Amy Casey. Special congratulations go to Kayden (1st place science fiction), Natalie (2nd place realistic fiction) and Brylee (3rd place Gothic poetry).

School Lunch Hero Day – May 1

Between preparing delicious meals, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, our nutrition professionals truly have a lot on their plates each day.

To celebrate their hard work and dedication, Brillion Public Schools will recognize School Lunch Hero Day on May 1. This annual celebration, established in 2013 by the School Nutrition Association and Jarrett Krosoczka, author of the Lunch Lady graphic novel series, honors the vital role school nutrition staff play in supporting student health and success.

School Lunch Hero Day provides an opportunity for parents, students, staff, and the entire community to thank those who provide healthy meals to nearly 30 million students across the country every school day.

We are especially thankful for Jody, Becky, Kerri, Samantha, Jennifer, Sara, Katie, and Jeannie for their dedication, care, and the delicious breakfasts and lunches they prepare for our students. Their hard work helps fuel learning and keeps our school community strong. #brillionlions #schoollunchheros

🏀 Victory for our Middle School Readers! 📚
The brackets are closed and the final pages have been turned! We are so proud of our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who dominated this year’s March Book Madness.

From March 1st through the 31st, these students stayed "on the court," diving into the year's best reads. A huge shoutout to our winners who either powered through one of the Final Four books in the last two weeks or made their voices heard in our daily voting!

🍦 A Sweet Partnership
A massive THANK YOU to our local Brillion DQ! Your incredible dedication to the Brillion School District library programs makes events like this possible. Thank you for providing the treats that keep our students motivated to keep reading!
