Good Morning! #brillionlions

Fifth-grade students are working on finding specific locations in geography class using a computer site.
The site they use allows them to figure out a location by looking at buildings, signs, and certain geographic features that are special to an area. They can do anything from locations around the world, the U.S., famous places, Wisconsin, and even in the Brillion area. It's a fun bellringer for them as well as an incentive for working hard. #brillionlions

Yes, students are still bundling up for recess. 🙁 When will the warmer weather return? #brillionlions

Spring time creations! I love the colors. #brillionlions

The tab tower of 2024-2025 came to a close over Spring break. Ms. Rice, along with Gene Wachal, took the tabs up to Goldin Iron & Metal Recycling, Corp to be cashed in. The total weight came out to 271 pounds of tabs!
In addition, Kay and Gene Wachal made their contribution to the cause, and Goldin generously matched, writing out a check for $475.90 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeastern Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
It's through donations like this that the RMHC can continue its important mission of keeping families together. Thank you to everyone who collected tabs. We will create another "Tower of Tabs" in 2028--so keep saving! #brillionlions

The BHS Student Council partnered with the Community Blood Center to host a blood drive on March 20. A total of 16 donors participated, including four first-time donors. Together, they contributed 12 pints of blood—potentially saving up to 36 lives in our community!
We are so proud of our students who helped plan, promote, and run the blood drive. #brillionlions

The BHS Student Council made blankets for the Lakeshore Humane Society and donated $200 to help cover the cost of caring for the animals. Students who contributed to making the blankets include Malaya O., Addison Q., Ava V., Aubrie D., and Macy V. Malaya played a key role in organizing the event and, along with Mrs. Lusk, delivered the donations on March 19. #brillionlions
