Third graders had a blast learning about forces through a game of tug-of-war! By pulling on the rope, they discovered how pushes and pulls create motion, how balanced forces keep things still, and how unbalanced forces cause movement. This hands-on activity helped them see science in action while working together as a team. #brillionlions #brillionstem

It’s been so much fun watching it grow throughout the summer and into the school year. We enjoyed plenty of cherry tomatoes and admired two beautiful colors of morning glories. Our garden also produced peppers, onions, sage, and cilantro. We learned that our pumpkins grew a little late this year, so we only had flowers—but there’s always next season! The compost from our garden will even be used by one of our families to feed their farm animals. 🌿🍅🌸 #brillionlions

During the event, students rotated through several engaging stations, including physical therapy and athletic training, manikin-based patient assessments, wound care, IV insertion, CPR and emergency simulations, and surgical assisting. Each station was designed to give students a realistic glimpse into the daily work of health care professionals and to inspire interest in pursuing health-related careers.
Brillion High School was proud to partner with Bellin College to bring this valuable learning opportunity to its students. Events like this help connect classroom learning with real-world applications while encouraging students to consider their future pathways in the growing field of health care.

As part of their Earth Systems unit, fifth graders headed to Spring Creek in Brillion to become real-life scientists! They tested water temperature, oxygen levels, clarity, and even identified insects living in the water to learn more about the health of their local ecosystem. This hands-on investigation helped them understand how Earth’s systems—water, air, land, and living things—are interconnected. #brillionlions
