Throwback Thursday from the 1930s! In the 1930s, common slang included "bread" for money, "chariot" for a car, "heat" for the police, and "bumping gums" for having a pointless conversation. #brillionlions #throwbackthursday

Our freshman science students put their energy transfer knowledge to the test in a windmill engineering challenge last week. Teams designed blades to pump water, light bulbs, and lift weights. After a whirlwind (!) of creativity and problem solving, one team from each class proved to be the true "Masters of the Breeze", earning the coveted Turbine Triumph Trophy. Great job, future engineers!
