Some students spent the last day of summer school at Split Happens Lanes in Brillion. Some learned how to bowl and others practiced their skills! We had a lot of excitement with a couple of strikes and spares! They had great teamwork and gave each other a lot of encouragement! #brillionlions

As a service learning project, the Extended School Summer Camp program made cards for veterans. Children discussed individuals who have served, veterans who have fought for America, and the historical monuments in our country honoring veterans. These cards will be given to Veterans on the Old Glory Honor Flight for Mail Call. Mail Call is a special surprise for all our veterans who fly on an Old Glory Honor Flight mission! The flight will take place this September. #brillionlions

The kids had a blast at Thousand Island Nature Preserve in Kaukauna. We got to see ducks and deer on the trails and a variety of animals in the building. The whole experience wore a few kids out! 😉 #brillionlions

Last week Deer Run let the 4th & 5th graders mini-golf for free! He even let them feed the fish. It is a beautiful course and a great way for kids to get active! #brillionlions
The youngest Summer School students visited one of our local dairy farms to experience a farm and some of the animals. #brillionlions
The 2nd and 3rd graders learned how to be fluent through reader’s theatre. They had to think about their role and present it in a clear and expressive way. Some of the kids added their creativity through actions and costumes! #brillionlions
