Happy Earth Day! Earth Day is celebrated annually on April 22nd to show support for protecting the environment. The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970, and now it involves a variety of events organized worldwide through earthday.org, with participation from over 1 billion people in 193 countries. Today, students learned about Earth Day and ways to take care of our planet. The students pitched in by cleaning up local parks and the school lawn. #brillionlions
