Today is Wisconsin Day. Wisconsin Day commemorates the assets that make Wisconsin a desirable place to live and work. The day falls on the Wednesday of the third week of September, as part of Wonderful Wisconsin Week. It was enacted on April 15, 1994, from the 1993 Laws of Wisconsin, Act 333. Let's enjoy the beautiful state that we live in. #brillionlions

Today is National IT (Information Technology) Professionals Day which honors the men and women we rely on to keep us connected. Thank you, Devin and Maria, for keeping Brillion Public School's technology up and running. When things are going smoothly it can be easy to forget about your IT pros.; but, as soon as the server goes down or the WiFi malfunctions, the IT pros become the most important people in the building. #brillionlions

The Reedsville Community tragically lost a student who was also a senior volleyball player on Sunday. She was actively involved in her school and community. On Thursday, Sept. 14 the Brillion High School volleyball program hosts the Valders High School volleyball program. JV1/JV2 starting at 5:30 and Varsity at 7 p.m. The Brillion and Valders volleyball teams ask anyone who comes to the matches on Thursday to wear orange/black to show support for the family and the Reedsville community. A 50/50 raffle and free-will donation collection will be available to anyone wishing to help out the family. All proceeds will benefit the Grimm family. #ReedsvilleStrong
