Mr. Schlender's students revived the HS garden box planters and are growing healthy vegetable and flower plants. Students sanded and painted the box planters and started the plants in the greenhouse this spring selecting edible and non-edible plants to grow in the containers. They have been weeding, watering, and putting down new mulch. Great job! #brillionlions




Today students practiced engineering skills by making sailboats and then racing them in STEM class. #brillionlions

Students at the Brillion Nature Center learned about owls and were able to dissect owl pellets to try and identify what the owls were living on. #brillionlions







Today in STEM class students were making boats and then seeing how many washers they would need to sink the boats. #brillionlions



Mousetrap Car Success! Students built a mousetrap car in STEM class. #brillionlions

It was too cold last Thursday for pond activity, so Louie lead an owl discussion with 4th and 5th graders dissecting owl pellets. So interesting. #brillionlions

In STEM, Mrs. Geiger is teaching the kids all about mixtures and solutions. They have created both mixtures and solutions this week and today they got to try different bubble solutions to see how each kind worked. They had a blast testing bubble solutions! #brillionlions

Today students had a great day learning how to fish during summer school. Congratulations on a great catch of a Large-Mouth Bass. Mr. Gade must be a very good instructor or that is one lucky student, or maybe a little of both! 😉 #brillionlions

Students in 4th and 5th grade were able to practice their block coding skills with the Dash robots. Students went through a series of stations including but not limited to obstacle courses and robo-bowling! #brillionlions

Mr. Levash's class enjoyed learning woodworking skills from Mr. Peterson. Students are using math and problem-solving skills. They also learn how to safely use hand tools. #brillionlions
