Throwback Thursday featuring the 1978 Girls Track Team! #brillionlions

1978 was a monumental year for rock, defined by the rise of new wave, arena rock, and punk, featuring iconic hits like Van Halen's "You Really Got Me," The Cars' "Just What I Needed," and The Rolling Stones' "Miss You".

The top movie hits of 1978 were dominated by the musical Grease, the superhero blockbuster Superman, and the iconic horror film Halloween.

Students are enjoying a book being read by Mrs. Hartl while they work on their projects. #brillionlions

SOFTBALL
Varsity and JV softball will play today, April 7, 2026, Chilton vs. Brillion at Brillion. The varsity softball game will begin at 4:30 with JV softball to follow. #brillionlions

Before Spring Break, elementary students and teachers faced off in a fun and friendly basketball competition. To level the playing field, teachers took on an extra challenge—playing with one hand tied behind their back or while wearing oven mitts! Varsity basketball players stepped in as referees, adding to the excitement of the game. With classmates cheering them on, the students brought great energy to the court and ultimately came away with the win!

Calumet County Government Day

Our students had a great opportunity to experience local government in action during Calumet County Government Day!

They met Congressman Tony Wied, observed a real court sentencing, watched a police K-9 unit demonstration, and explored future opportunities at the Calumet County career fair.

Some unique hands-on experiences included interacting with a snake presented by county parks staff and participating in an activity that simulated the challenges of living with dementia. Using special sunglasses and gloves, students attempted everyday tasks like buttoning clothing—helping build empathy and understanding.

It was a meaningful and engaging day of learning beyond the classroom! #brillionlions

In music class, some 4th grade students got to see an 8th grade student perform her Solo & Ensemble piece called, "The Entertainer". The kids really enjoyed the wonderful performance! #brillionlions
