This month in music, students have been studying famous Black musicians in honor of Black History Month. They also learned the history of how and why Black History Month was created.
On Tuesday, February 10th, the answer to the final Jeopardy question was what students had just learned.
Ms. Rice tested their knowledge and a number of students remembered this fine detail (or got close enough 😉).
The answer: Frederick Douglass

In their Energy Transformation unit, 4th graders have been exploring the many ways energy moves from place to place—through sound, light, heat, and electric currents. After studying the difference between torque and speed, students rotated through hands-on centers to learn about gears and sprockets and how they change the way machines work.
The 4th-grade class put their learning into action by building their own robots. #brillionstem #brillionlions
