What a fantastic way to celebrate our staff!

Today, Mr. Baumgartner fulfilled the second BPS Personal Day Giveaway by stepping in as a substitute teacher for Ashley Wiensch, our English Language Learner teacher.

I caught him working with Zoey on the letter “R” and the word “are.” It’s always great to see our leaders jumping in to support student learning! #brillionlions

Our 4K students have been learning all about hibernation and how animals, like bears, stay safe and warm during the winter months. After exploring what a den is and why it’s important, students put their engineering skills to work! They built their own bear dens and designed special doors to keep their bears safe from the cold and other animals. Through creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on building, our youngest engineers are discovering how animals adapt to survive. #brillionlions #brillionstem

As part of the 5th grade ELA unit on bridges, students explored how structures can solve real-world problems, culminating in a project where they identified a community issue that could be solved with a bridge.

Students focused on the need for a safer way for pedestrians to cross busy areas, the biggest concern being Highway 10. Using their research and the help of Dawn Eijtjes, they wrote a formal letter to Mayor Mike Smith advocating for a pedestrian bridge.

We recently met with the Mayor for a collaborative brainstorming session on the “next steps,” giving students a powerful, real-world opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and begin turning their proposal into action for the safety of our community.

Brillion’s varsity team finished the season as District 8A Division 2 Co-Champions with an impressive 10–5 record. As a small school, this is a significant accomplishment—especially while competing against strong programs from:

The 2026 Wisconsin Interscholastic Fishing Association (WIFA) State Ice Fishing Championship was held on February 21, 2026, on the Wisconsin River between Stevens Point and Wausau. Nearly 100 high school teams and more than 1,000 student-anglers competed in this walk-on, foot-travel-only event, targeting bluegill, crappie, perch, bass, and northern pike.

The Brillion Fishing Team did an outstanding job battling tough conditions at the state competition. The team put some impressive fish on the board and finished 18th overall out of 97 teams — an excellent accomplishment at this level of competition.

Congratulations to the anglers for their hard work, preparation, and determination. Thank you as well to the coaches, families, and supporters who helped make this season a success. Great job representing Brillion! 🎣#brillionlions

Recently, 24 Brillion Ag students had the opportunity to attend Cultivating Careers at Farm Wisconsin, where they explored the many possibilities available after high school!

Students connected with business and industry professionals, college representatives, and other ag peers, learning about careers across agriculture, food systems, science, and beyond. It was a great chance to ask questions, make connections, and start thinking about future pathways.

Our students had a great time, gained valuable insight, and represented Brillion Ag well! 🚜🐄🌾
