Brillion High School Art Students attended the Bergstrom Mahler Museum of Glass Workshop where the kids were able to tour the museum and then work with glass creating their fused glass piece of artwork. A special thank you to Dr. Jeff Zdrale for sharing the history of the museum as well as information and history of the glass paperweight collection on display. The student glasswork will be part of the Bergstrom Mahler Museum High School Glass Show in February. #brillionlions #bergstrommahlermuseumofglass

Toys around the world! What a great unit for kindergarten to have right before Christmas. In the STEM room, they are making toys to bring home. Cup and ball originated in Mexico and Hoopla in Italy. #brillionstem, #brillionlions

Brillion High School Student Leaders and Athletic Director Mr. Capelle attended the 2023 WIAA/Rural Insurance Sportsmanship Summit in Stevens Point. The Summit is designed to strengthen the principles of sportsmanship by promoting teamwork, sharing resources, and providing the impetus to make a difference in member schools while assisting schools in addressing citizenship and sportsmanship values with students, student-athletes, adult fans, advisors, parents, and booster clubs. The summit also helps develop plans to improve and maintain sportsmanship and set sportsmanship expectations. The students did a great job of networking and collaborating during the summit. #brillionlions

Students in Mr. Capelle's and Mr. Schlender's classes worked together to design and build a new shed for storage and equipment for the Tech Ed, Agriculture, and school garden. Students did a great job of problem-solving during the building process. A huge thank you to Potter Building Supply and Hardware Plus for their financial support along with the Brillion Tech Ed Department, the Brillion Agricultural Department, and the Brillion District Maintenance Department assistance to fund this project. #brillionlions
