As a special celebration of the 5th graders passing "Hot Cross Buns" on recorder, Ms. Rice brought in hot cross buns for them to try. These buns are a European tradition dating back to the 1100s. Students can be attending a four-year college or a technical college as long as they meet the 12-credit semester requirement and the 2.50 GPA.
Students must have received a 3.1 cumulative GPA when graduating from high school.

This day, celebrated annually since 2013, was designated by Jarrett Krosoczka, author of the “Lunch Lady” graphic novel series, and The School Nutrition Association.
