"Wisconsin Day" was celebrated on September 18, 2024, as part of "Wonderful Wisconsin Week." This week commemorates the assets that make Wisconsin a desirable place to live, work, and learn. From our beautiful landscapes to our vibrant communities, Wisconsin has so much to offer! #brillionlions

This week in music, students are building musical sandwiches! Students practiced the skill of listening to a piece of music (this week, Patriotic music) and analyzing the "texture": the sound source (ex: voices, instruments, etc). Then they took turns choosing from the list to create the music sandwich that accurately represents the piece. Fun was had by all! #brillionlions

Students in Aquaculture were testing water quality. They learned ideal ranges for pH, Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia, and EC in the water! Next week they will be adding perch into their system so they need to make sure all readings are in the proper range. #brillionlions

The Brillion Fire Department has established a Cadet Program. The program will provide the operational guidelines and skills needed for any young adult to prepare to become a firefighter in any volunteer or career fire department. September 11 is observed as Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance in the United States. The day honors the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, which killed nearly 3,000 people. #brillionlions

Fireworks will begin after the Homecoming Game on Friday, September 27, 2024. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m., and the Lions will take on the Roncalli Jets.
