Middle School Announcements

February 14, 2019 - It's a great day to learn at Brillion Middle School

Yearbook order forms are due back no later than Monday. We have extra order forms in the office.

The 8th grade vs. staff basketball game is coming up next week.  It will take place Friday, February 22nd from 2:20pm - 3:00pm.

Good luck to our Sea Perch team who is competing on Saturday.

You have another day off of school tomorrow.  Make sure you take a good book home and spend some time reading.

Thursday - Happy Valentine's Day and Love of Literacy Day - 15 Books , similar to the elves at Christmas time, are hidden throughout the school...Find a hidden book and bring it to my office to choose a prize off of the cart.  I have lots of books to choose from and some DQ gift certificates.  Reading is good for your soul and your intelligence!  Let's enjoy this Love of Literacy day together.  Take your book to PRIDE time today, so you can enjoy the school wide silent read with all of us today.

Since we are celebrating literacy and books, the library would like to remind you to please take care of the library books you take home with you. We have had several books come back in very poor condition this year. Let's try to show a little more love and care for our books by keeping them clean, dry, secured in bags while we travel, and away from our pets!

Sunday, Feb 17 is FFA Family Bowling from 4pm-6pm at Saber Lanes in Menasha. Cost is just $5 per person or a family of 5 for $20. Pizza and Beverages will be covered by FFA. Check your email to sign up!

Don't forget… our next incentive is only a little over a month away!   This incentive will cost 25 pride paws and require good behavior, limited ODRs, and work being completed. Teachers will begin collecting the pride paws soon, once the destinations are established.  Keep in mind...behavior and completing work matters…. Students can be removed after they pay their paws if need be.

Friday - Mrs. Carlson has started to put a sheet on the library bulletin board each week letting you know what the new books to the library shelves are. Be sure to stop and take a look as you pass by - you may find something that is a perfect fit for you!

Book and Movie Family Event - Read The Watson's Go To Birmingham with your family and then come on March 18th to enjoy the movie with us!

The Brillion Optimists are once again sponsoring Tri-Star Basketball for boys and girls on Monday, February 18th at 5:00pm in the middle school gym.

Please excuse wrestlers today at 2:15 for their match in Clintonville today.

Kickball for today will be:

Wednesday: 1 vs. 7
Thursday: 5 vs. 3

Happy Birthday:
